And the race is on! Runners stepped off first, as their route would be the longest.

The ramblers and rollers make their way past University Hall.



Pharmacy

 

As Abe steps out of the library with his latest new book, he cannot be distracted by the walkers.

With his hand-operated racing machine, this competitor was the only "roller" who went up against the runners. He did very well, finishing before many of his competitors.

 

Though they all began together, by the end of the race, runners were much more spread out.

At the corner of Nicholson and Feldman, a handful of "cheerleaders" shouted out to the runners as they passed by.

 

 

The lady in pink is all smiles. Maybe she is thinking about the finish line that is drawing ever closer.

The Lincoln College Lynx finished the race too.
