Grains futures mostly lower on the Chicago BOT

[April 27, 2010]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures were mostly lower Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery sank 17.5 cents to $4.88 a bushel, while July corn fell 1.5 cents to $3.595 a bushel and oats for July delivery were unchanged at $2.13 a bushel. July soybeans lost 1 cent to $10.09 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef futures advanced and pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle edged up 0.68 cent to 95.5 cents a pound, May feeder cattle rose 1.18 cents to $1.1375 a pound, June lean hogs shed 0.9 cent to 84.27 cents a pound, and May pork bellies slipped 0.15 cent to 95.1 cents a pound.
