3rd county fire in week hits Lincoln

At 2:50 a.m. Tuesday, firefighters from the Lincoln Fire Department were called to the 200 block of Willard Avenue for a structure fire. The fire began in a vacant home but caused damage to the homes on both sides of it, one of which was also vacant.

On Tuesday afternoon the state fire marshal was on the scene, but according to a Lincoln firefighter there as well, the cause of the blaze has yet to be determined.
