Students at Central School were provided a wealth of information regarding different countries, including food, art, photos, videos, instruments, games, traditional attire, etc. The students came through in small groups, spending about 10 minutes at each table. The students prepared questions and presented their passports to be stamped by each country representative. The student/presenter dialogue brought about excellent discussions and developed an awareness of our diverse world community.

The goal of this event was to provide diversity enrichment and a global worldview. Representing the various countries were Sheema Wahab, Pakistan; Shannon Maupin, Mexico; Ashlie Pitcock, Haiti; Angela Rogers, Africa (Congo); Charis Gordon, Laos; and Kim Ayers, Japan.

Each individual is a Lincoln resident. Ashlie, Angela, Charis and Kim are all students or graduates of Lincoln Christian University or Seminary. Shannon and Sheema are active members of Lincoln Christian Church. The flags were borrowed from Lincoln Christian Church and the banners were borrowed from Lincoln Christian University.

Other sponsors were Kroger, Neal Tire, Owl's Roost, Lincoln IGA, Jimmy John's, Lincoln YMCA, 5th Street Food Mart, Lincoln Christian Church, Lincoln Christian University and Adam Schmidt for Country Financial.
