Grains futures trade mixed; beef lower, pork mixed

[April 29, 2010]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures were mixed Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery fell 2.5 cents to $4.88 a bushel; July corn was up 10.25 cents to $3.64 a bushel; July soybeans gained 0.5 cent to $9.935 a bushel; and July oats slipped 0.75 cent to $2.0825 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef futures fell and pork traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle fell 0.3 cent to 93.42 cents a pound; August feeder cattle dropped 0.4 cent to $1.155 a pound; June lean hogs slipped 0.35 cent to 84.60 cents a pound; and May pork bellies climbed 0.7 cent to 97.2 cents a pound.
