Making sure that a dog is healthy is part of the program. As the kids brought their dogs into the arena, Shelly Prehoda asked questions about papers, immunization, food and exercise.

This is Cooper and his boy, Zak Farris. Cooper isn't quite sure he likes the judge. But by the time she was finished, he did let her give him a nice pet on the head.

Because Cooper is nervous, the judge asks Zak to show her his teeth.  

Now it's Tinkerbelle's turn. Shelly Prehoda takes a peek at the poodle's teeth.

"Enough of that! Let me down!"
