Monday's floriculture winners

Monday morning there were several activities going on at once in the exhibition buildings at the Logan County Fairgrounds. The pictures that follow are from the floriculture event, with Betty Mosier being the judge for the event.

Jason Steffens introduces Mosier. He was one of four superintendents for the floriculture division. The other three were Beth, Larry and Betty Steffens.

 

Grace Skelton stands beside her Crayola box arrangement. Skelton won a plaque for best floral display.



 

James Daniels won the plaque for best indoor plant with his large ceramic frog planter.

Abby Butler took the plaque for best fresh flowers.

 

The plaque claimed by Devin Pegram was for the best perennial.

 

Rachel Skelton won with the best annual.

 

 

 

 

Pictured on the left is Grace Wibben. On behalf of the Master Gardeners, she presented Kristin Bishop with the trophy for best horticulture display.

 

Mosier comments on the lovely cut-flower arrangement put together by Ruth Lessen. Lessen, who won the Betty Mosier Book Award, was not available for the photo.
