Members of 4-H between the ages of 10 and 14 set off on a wild "pig" chase Wednesday night at the track. Participants competed in the annual Pig Scramble for a chance to catch and keep live pigs.
Keeping tradition alive, fair queen Bethany Rea and "little miss" Danielle Phillips helped grease the pigs before they were released onto the track.

First comes the grease.

Almost there!

In this event, staying on your feet is an accomplishment in itself!

It's not as easy as it looks.

This little piggy got double-teamed.

Using the "wheel-barrow" method.

Uh-oh... only one pig left.

Announcer Cameron Kurtz put it best: "Remember, Mom, extra laundry tonight!"
