Steer show and results -- Album 1

Saturday morning at the steer competition, several young men and women came to show their animal, hoping it would be the best of the best.
While every animal was beautiful, only one could walk away as the grand champion steer of all the breeds shown. That one was shown by Kristine Apel of Beason, who won the overall championship with her Hereford.
In addition to plaques and ribbons, Apel was awarded a cash prize of $500, compliments of Graue Inc.

Large crowds gathered to watch the show, and it was standing room only. 

 

 

Champion shorthorn steer, shown by Jordan Breedlove. Jordan would also take reserve grand champion over all breeds.

In addition to the champion awards, several ribbons were also handed out.

Champion Simmental steer went to Brandon Hickey.

 

 

 

Kristine Apel will win champion Hereford and go on to win grand champion steer.

Champion Angus steer went to Lukas Aylesworth.
