[August 10, 2010]  The 2010 edition of the Logan County Fair is in the history books.

LDN was there on the ground from the first Saturday through Sunday night to bring you as much pictorial coverage as we could.

Last year we thought we did pretty well, publishing 212 full-color pictures. But this year the number of pictures came out to a whopping 378.

We know we still didn't get everything and we will continue to try to improve coverage in the coming years, but we feel proud of our efforts.

This year's fair is archived in our flipbook on our front page and we welcome readers to stop by as often as they want to take in the sights and stories and results of the fair. There is still information coming in, so check it out every day.

Remember, you can own your own copy of the completed flipbook on a DVD.

The price is only $5 and you can place an order at the 4-H Extension office out at the fairgrounds.

You also can stop in at the LDN office, 601 Keokuk, between 8 a.m. and noon Monday-Friday and place your order or orders right here. Or you can drop a check in the mail to Lincoln Daily News, 601 Keokuk, Lincoln, IL 62656.

A portion of the proceeds from the DVD will go to support our local 4-H programs, so make sure you order a copy today.

Thanks for your support, and we will see you all again at the 2011 edition of the Logan County Fair.
