Grains futures mixed, livestock prices mostly rise

[August 17, 2010]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures traded mixed Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery shed 3 cents to $7.3125 a bushel; December corn gained 2.25 cents to $4.295 a bushel; December oats were flat at $2.865 a bushel; while soybeans for November delivery inched up 0.5 cent to $10.445 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures mostly rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle added 1.20 cents to 96.27 cents a pound; October feeder cattle gained 1.03 cents to $1.1192 a pound; October lean hogs rose 0.10 cent to 74.75 cents a pound; and February pork bellies were flat at $1.04 a pound.
