Grains futures, livestock prices mostly rise

[August 18, 2010]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures traded mostly higher Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

HardwareWheat for December delivery ticked up 0.75 cent to $6.97 a bushel; December corn added 0.25 cent to $4.23 a bushel; December oats jumped 3.25 cents to $2.8875 a bushel; while soybeans for November delivery shed 1.5 cents to $10.30 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures mostly rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle added 0.53 cent to 96.70 cents a pound; October feeder cattle gained 0.50 cent to $1.1365 a pound; October lean hogs rose 0.25 cent to 75.10 cents a pound; while February pork bellies dipped 0.10 cent to $1.0390 a pound.
