Accidents Collision at the intersection of South Kickapoo and
Clinton streets
Incident occurred at 11:24 a.m. Aug. 18.

Hunter, Ryan M.,
21-year-old male, Lincoln; 2001 Chevrolet Monte Carlo

Schmidt, Betty R., 77-year-old female,
Lincoln; 2003 Buick Century
Hunter said he was southbound on Kickapoo. He stopped at the
intersection with Clinton Street, then proceeded, colliding with the
Schmidt vehicle in the middle of the intersection. Hunter told
police that he did not yield properly at the stop.
Schmidt said she had stopped on Clinton, then proceeded into the
intersection heading east and was struck by Hunter when she was
approximately halfway through the intersection.
Hunter was ticketed for failure to yield the right of way.

E., 35-year-old female, of Lincoln, was arrested at her
residence on Class A charge of domestic battery.

Bowles, Ronald L.,
40-year-old male, of Lincoln, arrested Aug. 18 at his residence
on Class A charge of domestic battery.

Galarde, Dominic
V., 18-year-old male, of Oak Park, arrested Aug. 18 in the 300
block of Keokuk on Class A charge of possession of cannabis 10
to 30 grams.

Lavigne, Patrick
L., 18-year-old male, of Oak Park, arrested Aug. 18 in the 300
block of Keokuk on Class A charge of possession of cannabis 10
to 30 grams.

A minor under the age of 18 was
arrested Aug. 19 on a Logan County warrant charging burglary.
Bond was set at $5,000, 10 percent.

Logan County Sheriff's Department reports for Thursday, Aug. 19
- Decanter, David W., 43-year-old male, of Mason City,
arrested Aug. 18 at the Logan County Safety Complex on a warrant
for failure to appear. No information was given as to the county
of origin. Bond was set at $100 cash.

San Jose Police Department report for Thursday, Aug. 19
- Decanter, Amy M., 42-year-old female, of Mason City,
arrested Aug. 18 on Illinois Route 136 at 800 Avenue, San Jose,
on Class A charge of driving with a license suspended. This
arrest led to the subsequent arrest of David Decanter by the
Logan County Sheriff's Department.
