WL-B defeats LJHS 7-4

[August 20, 2010]  West Lincoln-Broadwell (3-1) defeated Lincoln Junior High School (1-2) at Miller Field on Thursday afternoon. The final score was 7-4.

Payton Ebelherr (2-0) and Brent Metelko matched pitches with one another through four innings. Ebelherr got the complete-game win on the mound, striking out seven Trojan hitters while allowing only six hits and three earned runs.

Ebelherr also had two hits, three runs scored and an RBI. Brayden Curry had two hits, including a double, along with two runs scored and two RBIs.

For LJHS, Metelko had two hits, including a double, along with two runs scored and an RBI. J.D. Eigenbrod added two hits and an RBI.

WL-B plays host to C-EL on Friday at 4 p.m.
