Lincoln Jaycees searching for Haunted House location

Send a link to a friend

[August 20, 2010]  The Lincoln Jaycees Haunted House may not open this Halloween season. The Jaycees are still in need of a location for the annual event. The proceeds from the Haunted House are used by the Lincoln Jaycees to help fund other community projects, such as their Senior Feast, Breakfast with Santa, Angel Tree and Easter egg hunt.

The Lincoln Jaycees need the use of a location that is at least 5,000 square feet and could be used from September to November at little to no cost. If anyone can help, please call Shelley Hackett at 217-871-3009.

The Lincoln Jaycees are a not-for-profit organization serving Lincoln and the surrounding communities. The Lincoln Jaycees give young people between the ages of 18 and 40 the tools they need to build the bridges of success for themselves in the areas of business development, management skills, individual training, community service and international connections.

Membership meetings are at 7 p.m. the third Thursday of every month at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital. Meetings are open to the public.
