[August 24, 2010]  West Lincoln-Broadwell (5-1) defeated the team from Carroll Catholic, Zion Lutheran and New Holland-Middletown 11-7 on Monday afternoon.

Brayden Curry got the victory on the mound for the Wolverines, striking out four Crusader hitters in four innings of work and allowing only one earned run. Preston Ebelherr got the save, pitching three innings and striking out four batters.

Ben Steiner took the loss, though he pitched seven innings, striking out eight Wolverines.

Payton Ebelherr and Levi Curry led the Wolverines with three hits each, with Ebelherr scoring three times and Curry twice.

Chris Duong had two hits for the Crusaders, including a triple.

The Wolverines play next at home at 4 p.m. Wednesday against Springfield Little Flower.
