Grains prices, livestock futures mostly drop

[August 26, 2010]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures fell or ended flat Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

InsuranceWheat for December delivery dropped 27.25 cents to $6.805 a bushel; December corn dipped 0.5 cent to $4.20 a bushel; December oats were flat at $2.745 a bushel; and November soybeans were unchanged at $9.99 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures mostly fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle shed 0.65 cent to 98.80 cents a pound; October feeder cattle added 0.20 cent to $1.1740 a pound; October lean hogs dropped 0.17 cent to 77.10 cents a pound; and February pork bellies slid 1.25 cents to $1.0525 a pound.
