Perfect night for Maple Ridge kickoff party -- Album 2

Thursday evening, the weather was perfect for outdoor fun, and at Maple Ridge Care Centre there was plenty of fun, plenty of food and plenty of happy faces all around the grounds.

There were a lot of smiles, a lot of laughs and plenty of good old-fashioned neighborly visiting going on under the tent.

 

After their meal, several guests lingered in comfortable lawn chairs to visit and listen to the music.



 

 

Throughout the evening, folks were coming into the tent with full plates, while others were finishing up and moving on to something else.

And the band played on. Throughout the evening the group performed some excellent, upbeat vintage tunes that had many folks "toe-tappin.'"

 

A snow cone and a cookie make the perfect dessert for this young lady...

...while on the other hand, this young lady prefers cookies and cotton candy.

 

 

The perfect bite of sugary sweetness that sticks to your fingers and melts in your mouth.

 

As the sun begins to dip in the western sky, Logan County Board members Terry Carlton and Pat O'Neill chat for a bit.
