1st art and balloon fest parade

The day was perfect for the first Lincoln Art & Balloon Festival Parade through downtown Lincoln on Friday.

The walkers went around the square with the balloonists and vehicles heading out to the airport for a night of balloon fest activities.

The American Legion Honor Guard leads the parade.

 

If there had been a fire, the Lincoln Fire Department would have been ready.



 

 

Youngsters wave from the Special Olympics wagon.

The city sponsored Wally the hot air fish.

 

Other towns came to be a part of the parade.

The Lincoln Corn Maze was at the parade.

 

 

A perfect way for these two veterans to handle the long parade route.

The balloonists all make their way to the airport.
