Saturday afternoon at the Logan County Airport there were plenty of activities to participate in before the launch and balloon glow. As evening approached, the wind picked up a bit and pilots were told at their meeting that they could use their own discretion in deciding whether or not to launch. In the end only seven balloons went up, but at the glow everyone participated, much to the delight of the huge crowd that had gathered for the event.

As the crowds gather, many are attracted to the food vendors on the midway.
