Wednesday evening the Looking for Lincoln Heritage Coalition hosted a meeting at McKinstry Library on the campus of Lincoln College to explain and discuss the Abraham Lincoln National Heritage Area. In attendance were individuals representing Lincoln, Mount Pulaski, Elkhart and other communities outside of Logan County.

The national heritage area consists of 42 central Illinois counties that share the common thread of having significant history with our nation’s 16th president, Abraham Lincoln.
