Red Lions men's basketball

[December 07, 2010]  DUBUQUE, Iowa -- The Red Lions men's basketball team of Lincoln Christian University won two out of three games in the weekend Midwest Regional Tip-Off. After losing to Grace Bible College 70-94 on Thursday evening, LCU defeated Emmaus Bible College 73-52 on Friday and completed the weekend with a 75-74 win over Northland International on Saturday.

In the loss to Grace, LCU was led by Kyle Rust with 16 points and Chris Lawson with 10. In the Friday win over Emmaus, Rust scored 20 and Kevin Watson had 12. In the defeat of Northland International, Rust again was the leader with 16 points and Lawson had 10.

The 6-3 Red Lions will play at home Wednesday, when they host Principia College.
