Grains futures, livestock prices mostly rise

[December 09, 2010]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures mostly rose Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery slipped 0.75 cent to $7.84 a bushel; March corn gained 12.75 cents to $5.745 a bushel; March oats added 5 cents to $3.78 a bushel; while soybeans for January delivery jumped 10.5 cents to $12.96 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded flat or higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle edged up 0.07 cent to $1.0462 a pound; March feeder cattle gained 0.65 cent to $1.1882 a pound; February lean hogs added 0.35 cent to 75.67 cents a pound; while February pork bellies were flat at $1.0450 a pound.
