[December 11, 2010]  SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- A Santa Claus who was fired from a Macy's store in San Francisco over his bawdy humor has a new job playing the same role at a local pub.

John Toomey appeared on Jay Leno's "Tonight Show" on Thursday to tell his story.

The San Francisco Chronicle has reported that Toomey lost his 20-year job playing St. Nick at the Macy's store last weekend after an adult couple complained about a joke he made. When the couple asked why Santa's jolly, Toomey reportedly responded by telling them he knows where all the naughty boys and girls live.

He has since accepted a position playing Santa at Lefty O'Doul's, a nearby pub. His first day on the job is Friday.
