 With LCU leading 42-28 at the half and scoring the first six points
in the second for a 20-point lead, the Cougars rallied to cut the
score to 60-52 with 8:24 remaining in the game. From that point on
the Red Lions took control of the game and stretched their lead to
70-56 before the Cougars narrowed the score to the final 10-point
margin.LCU was led by Christ Lawson with 24 points, 18 coming on
six 3-pointers, and nine rebounds. Troy Lane and Josiah Brock both
had 10 points, while Kevin Watson had nine points and nine rebounds.
The 7-3 Red Lions shot 38.5 percent, both from the floor and from
3-point range. LCU outrebounded Kuyper 44-34.
