[December 14, 2010]  NEWARK, N.J. (AP) -- New Jersey's largest city will be featured in a TV program again next month.

Sundance Channel is announcing the second season of its "Brick City" documentary series will air on six Sundays beginning on January 30.

The first season aired last fall and won a Peabody Award.

The series follows Newark Mayor Cory Booker as he struggles to deal with the city's financial difficulties and rising opposition from some residents. It also tracks the lives of three young people trying to shed the influence of gangs and mentor their peers.

Academy Award-winning actor Forest Whitaker is the series' executive producer.
