Grains futures, livestock prices drop

[December 15, 2010]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures fell Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery slid 17 cents to $7.6325 a bushel; March corn dipped 1.25 cent to $5.8725 a bushel; March oats dropped 6 cents to $3.85 a bushel; while soybeans for January delivery fell 6.5 cents to $12.96 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded flat or lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle dropped 0.43 cent to $1.0452 a pound; March feeder cattle slid 1.08 cent to $1.1882 a pound; February lean hogs dipped 0.20 cent to 76.12 cents a pound; while February pork bellies were unchanged at $1.0525 a pound.
