Lincoln College wrestling

[December 15, 2010]  RIVER GROVE -- The Lincoln College wrestling team traveled to River Grove on Saturday to compete in the Art Kraft Memorial Tournament at Triton College. As a team the Lynx could have had a better performance, but they did walk away with 11 place-winners out of 17 wrestlers who competed:

• 125 -- D'Marcus Spencer, second; Prentice Thomas, third 

• 133 -- Luke Schofield, fourth

• 149 -- Mark Marianovich, second; Christian Taborn, third

• 165 -- Rick Goerke, third

• 184 -- Mike Johnson, third

• 197 -- Fred Moses, third

• Hwt. -- Andre Dunn, third; Devon Smith, fourth; Gabe Berry, sixth

Fred Moses also won the Most Falls Award for the tournament.

Next, the team will travel to the University of Indianapolis to compete in a two-day tournament on Saturday and Sunday.
