Grains futures, livestock prices rise

[December 18, 2010]  CHICAGO (AP) --  Grains futures rose Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

InsuranceWheat for March delivery added 7 cents to $7.5675 a bushel; March corn gained 9 cents to $5.965 a bushel; March oats rose 1 cent to $3.865 a bushel; while soybeans for January delivery climbed 9.75 cents to $12.9875 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded flat or higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle added 0.98 cent to $1.0450 a pound; March feeder cattle gained 0.95 cent to $1.1995 a pound; February lean hogs rose 1.38 cent to 75.95 cents a pound; while February pork bellies were flat at $1.06 a pound.
