[December 18, 2010]  ARLINGTON, Va. (AP) -- President Barack Obama has turned up at a Virginia elementary school to read to a group of second-graders from his new children's book.

The book -- "Of Thee I Sing" -- is a picture book in the form of a letter to his daughters portraying the lives of 13 great Americans. It was written in 2008 but just came out this fall.

As the children squirmed and giggled, Obama read entries on Albert Einstein and Jackie Robinson, then skipped to the book's final notable, Abraham Lincoln. He also read the Christmas poem "'Twas the Night Before Christmas" by Clement Moore.
