Grains futures trade mixed, livestock prices up

[December 23, 2010]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures were mostly up Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery rose 18.50 cents to $7.8350 a bushel; March corn gained 6.75 cents to $6.09 a bushel; March oats fell 2.50 cents to $3.9175 a bushel; while soybeans for January delivery climbed 2.50 cents to $13.2875 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded up or flat on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle added 1.75 cent to $1.0755 a pound; March feeder cattle gained 0.65 cent to $1.2362 a pound; February lean hogs added 2.90 cents to 78.87 cents a pound; while February pork bellies were flat at $1.06 a pound.
