Grains futures rise, livestock prices mixed

[December 24, 2010]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures were up Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery rose 0.50 cent to $7.83 a bushel; March corn gained 5 cents to $6.14 a bushel; March oats added 1.75 cent to $3.9350 a bushel; while soybeans for January delivery climbed 20.75 cents to $13.4950 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle added 0.02 cent to $1.0757 a pound; March feeder cattle gained 0.05 cent to $1.2367 a pound; February lean hogs fell 0.15 cent to 78.72 cents a pound; while February pork bellies were flat at $1.06 a pound.
