[December 27, 2010]  Thursday, Dec. 23, at 12:15 p.m. the Lincoln Fire Department received a 911 call of a fire at St. Clara's Manor, located on Fifth Street.

Upon firefighters' arrival, a small blaze in the lobby of the second floor just off the elevator was extinguished.

According to Mark Miller, interim fire chief, there were no injuries to either residents or staff, and no resident had to be displaced due to the blaze.

Miller said the blaze was the result of faulty wiring in a light fixture. Estimated cost of the damage incurred is roughly $2,000.
