Grains futures trade mixed, livestock prices up

[December 31, 2010]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Grain futures traded mixed Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

InsuranceWheat for March delivery fell 8.25 cents at $7.91 a bushel; March corn dropped 2 cents to $6.22 a bushel; March oats added 4 cents at $3.8850 a bushel; and soybeans for March delivery were down 1 cent at $13.76 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle gained 0.47 cent to $1.0872 a pound; March feeder cattle added 0.63 cent to $1.2470 a pound; February lean hogs were up 0.05 cent to 79.65 cents a pound; while February pork bellies were up 0.25 cent at $1.0650 a pound.
