Agriculture futures trade mixed on the CBOT

[February 02, 2010]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mixed Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

InsuranceWheat for March delivery edged up 0.75 cent to $4.7475 a bushel, while March corn climbed 2.5 cents to $3.59 a bushel and oats for March delivery were unchanged at $2.28 a bushel. March soybeans slid 4.25 cents to $9.0975 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef and pork futures traded lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle slipped 0.55 cent to 85.25 cents a pound; March feeder cattle fell 1.15 cents to 97.72 cents a pound; February lean hogs lost 2.13 cents to 64.37 cents a pound; and February pork bellies shed 1 cent to 80.5 cents a pound.
