Wheat, corn, oats, soybeans fall on the CBOT

[February 04, 2010]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures fell Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

InsuranceWheat for March delivery dropped 18.25 cents to $4.69 a bushel, while March corn slid 12 cents to $3.53 a bushel and oats for March delivery lost 1 cent to $2.31 a bushel. March soybeans sank 17.5 cents to $9.08 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef and pork futures traded higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle edged up 0.23 cent to 86.45 cents a pound; March feeder cattle added 0.18 cent to 97.4 cents a pound; February lean hogs rose 0.72 cent to 66.12 cents a pound; and February pork bellies advanced 0.55 cent to 82.05 cents a pound.
