[February 04, 2010]  Snow is expected to spread into central Illinois after midnight and continue into Friday evening before tapering off to flurries. Some of the snow will mix with rain at times along and south of Interstate 70.

Snow accumulations will range from 2 to 4 inches by Friday evening, with the heaviest amounts north of I-70 to along I-72.

Expect lesser amounts in southeast Illinois south of I-70, especially along Route 50 from Flora to Lawrenceville, where there will be a mixture of rain and snow for a time on Friday.
