Agriculture, livestock futures trade mixed

[February 05, 2010]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mixed Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery jumped 6.75 cents to $4.7575 a bushel, while March corn gained 1 cent to $3.54 a bushel and soybeans for March delivery climbed 6 cents to $9.14 a bushel. March oats lost 2.25 cents to $2.2875 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef and pork futures also traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle added 0.1 cent to 86.55 cents a pound; March feeder cattle slipped 0.15 cent to 97.25 cents a pound; February lean hogs inched up 0.03 cent to 66.15 cents a pound; and February pork bellies fell 0.3 cent to 81.75 cents a pound.
