Agriculture futures trade lower on the CBOT

[February 06, 2010]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were lower Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery lost 2.5 cents to $4.7325 a bushel, while March corn fell 2.5 cents to $3.515 a bushel and oats for March delivery shed 2.5 cents to $2.2625 a bushel. March soybeans slipped 0.5 cent to $9.135 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef futures advanced and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle edged up 0.87 cent to 87.42 cents a pound; March feeder cattle gained 1.07 cents to 98.32 cents a pound; February lean hogs rose 0.55 cent to 66.7 cents a pound; and February pork bellies fell 1.75 cents to 80 cents a pound.
