Agriculture, livestock futures rise

[February 11, 2010]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures rose Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery jumped 14.5 cents to $4.9675 a bushel; March corn climbed 3.25 cents to $3.6175 a bushel; March oats added 2.25 cents to $2.3225 a bushel; and March soybeans gained 13 cents to $9.375 a bushel.

Meanwhile, livestock futures traded higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle added 0.07 cent to 88.82 cents a pound; March feeder cattle rose 0.28 cent to 100.25 cents a pound; February lean hogs gained 0.38 cent to 67.90 cents a pound; and February pork bellies traded up 1.45 cents to 84.50 cents a pound.
