With many families still facing tough economic times, let the YMCA help your kids have fun. We offer financial aid to anyone who qualifies. Stop by the Y office to pick up your financial aid form today.

YMCA Spring Soccer registrations will be accepted now through March 18. This program is designed to introduce soccer fundamentals and techniques to kids age 3 1/2 to 12 years old. Participants will practice once a week. Game will be played on Saturday mornings. Register before March 18 to avoid late fees.

Hunting season may soon be over, but now is a great time to introduce your kids to YMCA Archery. This program is designed to help participants with their individual skills, techniques and abilities. Kids third grade and older will meet on Saturday mornings as they learn proper use of a compound bow by shooting targets and various decoys. Registrations are being accepted through Feb. 25.

YMCA Spring Travel Soccer is for kids 12-14 years old who are looking to play against other YMCAs. This league will travel to Springfield on Saturday mornings to play at the Springfield YMCA's soccer fields, located on the U of I at Springfield campus. The goal is to introduce players to other YMCAs to encourage fair yet competitive games. Registrations will be accepted now through March 18.

Nursing Homes

Set! Bump! Spike! YMCA Volleyball Clinic introduces kids in first to sixth grade to the sport of volleyball and teaches the skills necessary to play. Participants will meet on Tuesday evenings, with first to third grade meeting at 5:30 p.m. and fourth to sixth grade meeting at 6:30 p.m. Registration ends March 16, so hurry in today.
