Kimberly L. Kelly, 44, of Easton; 2004
Chevrolet Malibu
Kelly reported she was stopped on Lincoln Parkway, facing south
at the light, waiting to make a right-hand turn. Mason was traveling
southbound on Lincoln Parkway, also preparing to turn right. Mason
said she didn't realize Kelly was fully stopped, and rear-ended her
vehicle.
Kelly reported neck pain but refused an ambulance, saying she'd
drive herself to the hospital.
Mason was ticketed for driving too fast for conditions.
Accident at Pekin and North Logan
Feb. 9 at 3:18 p.m.

of Lincoln; 2000 Chevrolet Impala

Elethia C. King, 28, of Decatur; 2004
Chevrolet Malibu
King reported she was southbound on North Logan and slowed down
for a vehicle ahead of her. Duncan was following King and, unable to
slow down, struck the rear end of the King vehicle.
Duncan was ticketed for driving too fast for conditions. King was
ticketed for operating an uninsured vehicle.
Accident at North Kickapoo and Broadway
Feb. 10 at 1:30 p.m.

Stephen Golden, 24, of Lincoln; 1983
Ford Ranger
Golden reported that he was southbound, stopped at the traffic
signal, when Dehner came up from behind and was unable to stop, thus
rear-ending the Golden vehicle.
Dehner was given two citations. No further details available.
Accident at Sixth Street and South Jefferson
Feb. 10 at 3:49 p.m.

Philip E. Hopper,
35, of Lincoln; 1998 Chrysler Town & Country

Underage female driver between the ages
of 16 and 18
Hopper said he was eastbound on Sixth Street, coming to the
intersection of South Jefferson. He attempted to stop but was unable
to, due to snowy, slick streets. The underage driver was approaching
the intersection on Sixth, saw that Hopper was not going to be able
to stop, but also found that she was unable to stop due to the slick
street. The two collided in the intersection.
Vehicle struck while exiting private driveway

Toyota Avalon
Cravens was reported to be northbound on Westminster while
Lolling was attempting to back out of a private driveway. Lolling
failed to see Cravens coming.
Lolling was ticketed for failure to yield

John D. Tabor, 46, of Lincoln; 1996
Chevrolet conventional cab pickup
The Tabor vehicle was parked and unoccupied along Wyatt Avenue.
The underage female driver said she was headed westbound on Wyatt
and lost the ability to steer her vehicle. She struck the Tabor
vehicle on the rear of the driver's side.
The unnamed driver was transported to Abraham Lincoln Memorial
Hospital, then later to Memorial Hospital in Springfield.
Accident at corner of Pekin and North Kickapoo
Feb. 13 at 6:29 p.m.

Shirley A. Smith, 73, of Lincoln; 2008 Chevrolet 300

Mallory M. Ziegenbein, 19, of Raymond
Ziegenbein was headed north on North Kickapoo at Pekin Street. As
she passed through the intersection, Smith entered from the west,
eastbound, and struck Ziegenbein. Smith then proceeded on, making a
left turn onto McLean.
Smith was located later by the Lincoln Police Department and
ticketed for disobeying a stop sign and leaving the scene of an
accident where there was vehicular damage.

Injuries sustained in a collision at Fifth and Union
Feb. 14 at 5:36 p.m.

Kelly L. Purlee, 39, of Chatham; 2009 Hyundai Sonata
Purlee was headed east on Fifth. Merreighn was on Union.
Merreighn stopped, then proceeded into the intersection, striking
the Purlee vehicle, and then left the scene.
Purlee reported neck pain and was taken to Abraham Lincoln
Memorial Hospital
Merreighn was ticketed for driving too fast for conditions as
well as leaving the scene of an accident with injuries.

J., 28-year-old female, Lincoln; arrested Feb. 14 on State
Street on a Logan County warrant for failure to appear. Bond
$250 cash.

B., 48-year-old male, Lincoln; arrested Feb. 11 in the 1000
block of Delavan on a Tazewell County warrant for failure to
appear. Additional charge: Class A -- contempt. Bond $250 cash.

28-year-old male, Middletown; arrested Feb. 15 on Stringer
Avenue on Class A charges of domestic battery. Ordered to have
no contact with Janel Loveall.

21-year-old female, Lincoln; arrested Feb. 17 in Lincoln on a
Logan County warrant for failure to appear. Bond $250 cash.

her residence on Class 4 charges of leaving the scene of an
accident with injuries. Also ticketed for Class A charges of
illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor.

R., 26-year-old male, Lincoln; arrested Feb. 12 at his residence
on Class A charges of domestic battery. Ordered to have no
contact with Brittney Nichols.

Lincoln; arrested Feb. 12 at the intersection of Burlington and
McLean on three charges: Class A -- driving with a license
suspended, Class A -- possession of drug paraphernalia, and
Class C -- possession of cannabis less than 2.5 grams.

- Hamilton, Jeremy S., 31-year-old male, Springfield; arrested
Feb. 15 in Atlanta on charges of driving with a license
suspended.
Mount Pulaski Police Department report for Tuesday, Feb. 16
- Lynch, Joshua D., 21-year-old male, Lincoln arrested Feb. 12
in Lincoln on Class A assault charges.
