Saints defeat Red Lions

[February 16, 2010]  The Saints of Central Christian College of the Bible defeated the Red Lions of Lincoln Christian University 44-33 in women’s basketball Monday evening. Trailing 25-10 at the half, LCU narrowed the score to 40-33 before CCC scored the final four points to seal the game.

Kim Harden led the Red Lions with 15 points and seven rebounds. Sheena Cooper scored nine points and had 11 rebounds, while Jonni McCaslin scored six and Chantel Banks had three points.

The Red Lions will travel to Eureka College on Wednesday.
