Agriculture futures trade mixed on the CBOT

[March 19, 2010]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mixed Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

HardwareWheat for March delivery dropped 10.25 cents to $4.9475 a bushel, while March corn slid 7.25 cents to $3.60 a bushel and soybeans for March delivery sank 14 cents to $9.515 a bushel. March oats added 2 cents to $2.38 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef futures traded mixed and pork futures advanced on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle slipped 0.02 cent to 92.15 cents a pound; March feeder cattle gained 0.45 cent to $1.0157 a pound; April lean hogs rose 0.93 cent to 69.2 cents a pound; and March pork bellies edged up 0.17 cent to 83.77 cents a pound.
