Wheat for March delivery rose 4.75 cents to $4.8975 a bushel, while March corn edged up 2.75 cents to $3.60 a bushel and oats for March delivery lost 5 cents to $2.30 a bushel. March soybeans fell 3 cents to $9.45 a bushel.
Meanwhile, beef futures advanced and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
April live cattle gained 0.25 cent to 93.3 cents a pound; March feeder cattle inched up 0.13 cent to $1.026 a pound; April lean hogs shed 0.62 cent to 69.65 cents a pound; and March pork bellies added 1.95 cent to 87.55 cents a pound.
