[February 20, 2010]  The Red Lions men's basketball team of Lincoln Christian University, who started the game very cold from the floor -- not sinking their second field goal until the 8:15 mark in the first half, turned up the heat for a come-from-behind 75-60 victory over the Cougars of Kuyper College.

Trailing 4-10 with nine minutes left in the first half, the Red Lions were able to outscore the Cougars to take a 29-28 lead at the half.

Improving their play under the basket, they dominated in the second half 46-32.

Jon Wallace, one of four seniors honored before the game, led with 32 points and 13 rebounds. Troy Lane scored 18 points and captured five rebounds, while Josiah Brock scored nine with seven rebounds and Mac Ingmire scored nine.

LCU ends its regular season with a 17-7 record going into the NCCAA Midwest Regional Championship at Watertown, Wis., Feb. 25-27.
