Agriculture futures trade mixed on the CBOT

[February 23, 2010]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mixed Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

HardwareWheat for March delivery jumped 11.5 cents to $5.0125 a bushel, while March corn climbed 11.5 cents to $3.715 a bushel and oats for March delivery lost 2 cents to $2.28 a bushel. March soybeans surged 16.5 cents to $9.615 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef futures fell and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle slipped 0.08 cent to 93.22 cents a pound; March feeder cattle fell 0.78 cent to $1.0182 a pound; April lean hogs gained 0.65 cent to 70.3 cents a pound; and March pork bellies shed 0.75 cent to 86.8 cents a pound.
