Accident report for Friday, Feb. 26

Hit-and-run vehicle may be a black Honda
Feb. 25, 1:26 p.m., on North Kickapoo

  • Unknown vehicle

  • Jennifer L. Furey, 39, of Western Springs

Furey reported to police that she was northbound on North Kickapoo near Pekin Street. She had slowed to a near stop for the car in front of her that was waiting to turn in at a parking lot. An unknown vehicle, also northbound, failed to stop and rear-ended Fuery’s vehicle.

Furey said that she pulled into a nearby parking space, and the vehicle that hit her continued northbound.

She described the vehicle as a small black vehicle, possibly a Honda, with two occupants. The driver of the car she described as a white male wearing a baseball cap.

Lincoln Police Department report for Friday, Feb. 26

  • Dea, Richard J., 46-year-old male, Lincoln; arrested Feb. 25 at his residence on a Macon County warrant and a Sangamon County warrant, both for failure to appear on small claims cases. Bond set at $3,000 and $5,000, 10 percent.

Mount Pulaski Police Department report for Friday, Feb. 26

  • Jones, Dallas D., 22-year-old male, Lincoln; arrested Feb. 25 in Mount Pulaski on Class A charge of driving with a suspended license.

Logan County Sheriff’s Department reports for Friday, Feb. 26

  • Parmenter, Jacob M., 24-year-old-male, Lincoln; arrested Feb. 25 in the 1100 block of 1250th Avenue on Class A charge of driving under the influence plus Class A charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Officers confiscated a bowl as evidence. Vehicle was towed from the scene of the arrest.

  • Sibert, Stacy J., 40-year-old male, Decatur; arrested Feb. 25 on Route 121 at Pulaski Street in Lincoln on a Sangamon County warrant for contempt of court. Bond set at $200 cash.
