Agriculture futures gain on Chicago Board of Trade

[February 04, 2010]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures gained Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery jumped 16.25 cents to $5.5775 a bushel; March corn gained 4 cents to $4.185 a bushel; March oats added 2 cents to $2.79 a bushel; and March soybeans rose 9.5 cents to $10.58 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle shed 0.80 cent to 85.37 cents a pound; March feeder cattle edged up 0.07 cent to 96.32 cents a pound; February lean hogs gained 0.25 cent to 65.85 cents a pound; and February pork bellies lost 0.50 cent to 87.50 cents a pound.
