Lincoln Police Department reports for Monday, Jan. 4 Chain-link
fence damaged by vehicle
Cameron M. Felton, a 20-year-old male, was charged with driving
under the influence and driving too fast for conditions in a Dec. 30
incident at the First Student bus lot on Pekin Street.
Felton was driving around in the bus parking lot when he lost
control of his 1997 Chevrolet pickup and ran it into a chain-link
fence on the property.
Felton and three passengers left the scene. They were later
located several blocks away,
Hit-and-run damages one vehicle
A 1994 Cadillac DeVille owned by Louis W. Gill, 18, was damaged in a
hit-and-run. Gill reported that he and two witnesses were inside a
residence on Hamilton Street when they heard a loud crash. They ran
outside and saw a white vehicle, perhaps a Dodge Stratus, heading
eastbound. It had an Illinois license plate beginning with "929."
The unknown vehicle and its driver are still at large.

Hart reported at the safety complex in Lincoln about an accident
Dec. 31. He said he was southbound on North College at 11th Street
and stopped at the intersection. The other driver was behind him and
hit his car in the rear bumper.
Lolling was located at her home and reported that ice had slid
off the roof of her car and onto the windshield. As she reached to
turn on the wipers, her foot slipped from the brake and her car went
forward, hitting the other vehicle.
